ISLAMABAD — On 15th April, in a prestigious evening dedicated to the “architects of the future,” Dr. Faisal Mushtaq TI, Founder and Chairman of Change in Education (CFM), hosted a grand Recognition Dinner for the O and A-Levels faculty at the Islamabad Club. The event served as a high-profile tribute to the dedication of teachers and a powerful call to recognize teaching as a cornerstone profession for global peace and social transformation.
Addressing a distinguished gathering of the country’s top educators, Dr. Faisal Mushtaq emphasized that teaching is not merely a job but a profound “Profession of Peace & Passion.” He highlighted that in an increasingly complex world, teachers are the primary mediators who instil the values of tolerance, critical thinking, and empathy in the youth.
“Our teachers are the silent revolutionaries,” stated Dr. Faisal Mushtaq. “By honouring them tonight, we are reaffirming our commitment to the idea that education is the most powerful weapon we can use to change the world. At TME, we believe that a teacher’s influence transcends the classroom, shaping the very fabric of a peaceful society.” You’re not hired for a CV, you’re chosen for your positive impact, the careers you’ve built, the lives you’ve shaped, the futures you’ve transformed”, he further added.
The Islamabad Club’s banquet hall was filled with the spirit of camaraderie as senior faculty members were acknowledged for their decades of service. The event highlighted that for Dr Faisal, education is an ethical mission to build a sustainable and enlightened future. The gala served as a profound reflection of the core values held by Change in Education, seamlessly weaving the organization’s mission into the evening’s proceedings. Central to this vision is the principle of inclusivity and equity, which was demonstrated by ensuring that every educator present was recognized not merely as an employee, but as a vital stakeholder in the nation’s collective progress. By fostering an environment where diverse perspectives are celebrated, the event reinforced the idea that a unified faculty is the strongest foundation for a robust educational system.
The Recognition Dinner concluded with a vote of thanks, leaving the attendees inspired to return to their classrooms not just as instructors, but as ambassadors of peace and catalysts for positive change. The evening provided a rare opportunity for faculty members from across various disciplines to network, share insights, and discuss the evolving landscape of international qualifications in Pakistan.
