ISLAMABAD, September 16, 2026: The Millennium Education (TME) welcomed Kathryn Booth, Pearson’s Regional Director for International Schools across MENA and South Asia, to its Head Office in Islamabad on Wednesday for a strategic business development meeting focused on expanding academic collaboration and professional learning opportunities.
The visit brought together TME and Pearson leadership to review the existing partnership and explore further opportunities to support students, teachers and school leaders across the TME network.
TME has an established association with Pearson and Pearson Edexcel, with several of its schools facilitating international qualification and examination pathways. Pearson programmes, academic resources and internationally benchmarked assessment frameworks also contribute to TME’s wider commitment to providing globally relevant learning experiences.
Professional development remained a key focus of the discussions, with both organisations exploring enhanced training, academic engagement and capacity-building opportunities for school leaders and teachers. The dialogue also considered ways to strengthen support for Pearson Edexcel qualifications and enable educators to remain aligned with evolving international teaching, assessment and qualification practices.
Kathryn Booth brings extensive experience in international education and school qualifications, having worked with Pearson and Edexcel in senior roles since 2009, including leadership responsibilities in science qualifications and international academic markets.
The visit reflected TME’s continued focus on building purposeful international partnerships that strengthen academic quality, advance teacher development and broaden globally recognised learning pathways for students.
