The retreat was structured to move beyond conventional corporate meetings and create a space where leaders could engage directly with the priorities shaping the next phase of The Millennium Education Group. Across the three days, discussions focused on strategic alignment, leadership development, collaboration and the practical challenges of managing a large, geographically distributed education network. Bringing representatives from 55 campuses into the same room also created an opportunity to identify common issues, exchange approaches that were working in different regions and develop a greater sense of collective ownership over the organization’s direction.
A key feature of EVOLVE was the balance between formal strategy and relationship-building. While workshops and planning sessions provided a framework for discussing institutional goals and operational priorities, the retreat also allowed regional and campus leaders to interact outside their usual professional routines. This was particularly valuable for colleagues whose working relationships are often maintained through digital communication rather than face-to-face engagement. Informal conversations, shared activities and team-building sessions helped strengthen connections across the network and encouraged leaders to see challenges from perspectives beyond their individual campuses.
The participation of Dr. Faisal Mushtaq TI as the retreat’s lead added a strong leadership dimension to the program. His involvement positioned EVOLVE not simply as an annual gathering, but as a deliberate opportunity to bring the organization’s leadership together around a shared vision. The inclusion of Umair Jaliawala further broadened the program’s focus, bringing an external perspective into the discussions and giving participants an opportunity to reflect on leadership, communication and organizational growth from a different angle.
The choice of Zesora Boutique Resort in Nathia Gali was also central to the retreat’s format. By moving leaders away from their campuses and the immediate pressures of day-to-day operations, the setting created the space required for deeper conversations and uninterrupted strategic thinking. Rather than concentrating on routine reporting, the retreat used the change of environment to encourage participants to consider what the organization needs next, how its campuses can work more effectively as one network, and how leadership teams can translate strategic priorities into action.
Ultimately, EVOLVE demonstrated the value of bringing a large education network together physically at a time when much of organizational communication takes place remotely. With leaders from 55 campuses participating simultaneously, the retreat provided a rare opportunity to build alignment at scale while strengthening relationships across regions. More than a three-day off-site meeting, it functioned as a platform for collective reflection, strategic planning and leadership development—helping connect the individual priorities of campuses with the broader direction of The Millennium Education Group.
