Islamabad: Leadership from The Millennium Education Group (TME) participated in an academic engagement hosted by Oxford AQA International during the organisation’s visit to Pakistan, bringing together key stakeholders to discuss assessment quality, curriculum standards, and future-focused education.
The event was attended by senior representatives from Oxford AQA International, The Millennium Education Group, and TME Department of International Qualification, Curriculum and Assessment, reflecting a shared commitment to international benchmarking, academic rigor, and quality assurance in education.
During the engagement, Ms. Amna Salik Director of Education at The Millennium Education Group, shared insights into TME’s academic vision and its alignment with global best practices. She highlighted the Group’s focus on moving beyond rote learning toward fostering critical thinking, application of knowledge, and problem-solving skills across classrooms.
Jennifer, Head of Qualifications at Oxford AQA International, outlined the distinctive features of the Oxford AQA framework, emphasizing its assessment philosophy that prioritizes higher-order thinking skills through enhanced assessment objectives across subjects. She noted that this approach enables students to demonstrate understanding through analysis, reasoning, and real-world application.
The presence of TME leadership further reinforced the importance of governance, accreditation, and quality standards in delivering internationally recognized education. Leadership from The Millennium Education Group engaged in discussions around curriculum transition, accreditation pathways, and long-term academic collaboration.
With some TME schools already Oxford AQA accredited, the engagement marked an important milestone in strengthening academic dialogue and exploring opportunities to further align curriculum and assessment practices with global standards.
