Selection of Franchisee by TME Management:  STEPS OF THE SELECTION PROCESS

There are certain steps that are required to be followed in the selection of Franchisees.  These steps are based a series of conversations/information exchanges that help both sides determine the options and  suitability. Usually these are the usual initial steps:

1. Receive a call from interested individual/party
2. Initial briefing given and introductions sought.
3. Filled form submitted online by the interested party.
4. Email address and contacts listed for further information.
5. Information to be sent with relevant Franchise Information Pack.
6. Content of form /location identified discussed in detail amongst TME management
7. Interested party would be invited for a visit to the Head Office if found suitable.
8. Further discussions to take place where the investor’s financial sustainability, veracity of information given in the form will be confirmed and alternate locations offered in case certain locations are not vacant.
9. During the briefing, the potential franchisees are given the understanding that the current meeting does not certify an approval/ commitment to award them

The Millennium Education shall share its knowledge and expertise in the form of approval to operate high standard schools under their trademark. Comprehensive services will be offered to all investors inclusive of day-to-day support through communication and visitations. These will also include establishment of Franchise modalities and systems as mentioned in The NEXT Schools Franchise Operations Manual and Agreement.

Selecting a useful location is an essential factor in the success of the establishment. We have identified below key points to be kept in mind while selecting the location for The NEXT School campus as below:

Safety:
Safety factors like traffic speed/volume; and street crossing safety are to be considered. Students arriving in personal cars or other transport should be able to enter school premises safely even if they are required to walk a brief distance before they reach the school gate. Ample space should be available for parking. School should not be located near Gas/Petrol pumps

Location:
A school should be located where there is visibility, and it is not situated in inner/ narrow streets that may not be seen by people. Hence a school should preferably be located on a major road with open ends (no dead ends as the street would be made one way for school opening and closing times for parents

Environment:
The environment surrounding a school should complement the vision of an educational institution. Ideally a school should be located away from commercial concerns, garbage dumps, cramped construction & workshops etc.

Size and Shape:
The shape of the building should not be displeasing to the eye and should be preferably simple, yet tasteful.

Expansibility:
Building with additional space or area alongside for expansion would be an advantage.

Accessibility:
A school should preferably be located where it is accessible to public transport, more so for the employees. The area should also be near a substantial residential locality so that it can cater to the needs of the neighborhood school going
